Numerology is an ancient esoteric science whose discovery is attributed to Pythagoras in 6th century BCE. From the early 20th century, Numerology underwent a transformation with many techniques discovered, and now operates seamlessly with astrology, providing a big picture view while astrology excels at the finer details. Neil will review the history and principles of numerology and explore links and correspondences to astrology in theory and in practice using the birth charts of public figures and a national sporting scandal. To illustrate the depth of modern numerological techniques now available Neil will focus on the life and times of former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
Dr Neil Hair is President of the Astrology Association of NSW and Principal of the Sydney School of Numerology. He teaches personal and business numerology courses and workshops, consults to individuals and businesses using numerology and astrology, and researches the destinies of nations. Neil’s original background is in chemistry and he taught at high school and university, before becoming a financial analyst, software designer and managing director of a software house. He began studying and researching numerology and astrology in 1981, teaching numerology from 1992, and established Sydney School of Numerology in 2000. Neil resumed teaching at a natural therapies college from 2006 to 2018, tutoring and lecturing in chemistry and biochemistry, and is fascinated by the overlap between science and spirituality. He is currently writing a book on numerology to document his research and practice of numerology over the past 35 years.
