Chiron, the centaur comet, is so much more than his familiar epithet "wounded healer." As humanity evolves—in consciousness and technology—our collective mythology and cosmology must surely expand along with it. This explains the late-20th- and early-21st-century explosion of discoveries of exoplanets and Kuiper Belt objects. We're still at the starting gate of our understanding of these objects' significance for life on earth, but there are emerging themes, the primary and arguably most urgent related to collective healing: our personal mind-bodies and ancestral wounds as well as Gaia herself.

Money gets a bad rap in some circles. Apparently, it is not very spiritual. This view is mostly adopted by those with little money. However, by itself money is neither positive nor negative. It’s only our perspective that makes it so.

In this lecture Peter Burns will look at some of the astrological indicators for money and wealth in the natal chart. What does the natal horoscope say about how you obtain money, how lucky are you? … and similar questions.

We will look at some of the old techniques for evaluating wealth and the prospects of earning a living and see how well these techniques apply to the charts of some wealthy people. We will look at what can we learn from horary astrology techniques.

Also we’ll look at some an  old predictive technique to evaluate times in life when you are more likely to be prosperous. And if you are challenged in the money department, how you can maximise your opportunities?

Peter took up astrology in the late 1980's, received his Astrology Diploma (FAA) in 1997,  Victorian Astrologers Association president 2006-2008, editor of the FAA (Federation of Australian Astrologers) Journal 2000-2015, guest speaker on ABC radio in WA and 3RRR in Melbourne, published "The Palmistry Textbook" in 2011, has lectured in Australia and USA.

Anyone paying attention to the ongoing debate by astrologers about the arrival of the semi-mythical Age of Aquarius may overlook that most debaters talk about ages as if they are monolithic.  It is virtually impossible to determine the exact dates of any astrological age based only on the ages- though Rudolph Steiner had talent in this respect and of course historians have correctly identified the arrival of modernity – just not recognizing that Aquarius is associated with modernity.  From the astrological perspective, it is the internal structure of the astrological ages that provide the necessary clues and confirmations about the borders of eachage.

In my presentation, we will commence with the influences of the Pisces and Aquarius ages, then drill down as far as possible into the internal structure that applies to 2023.  If we go deep enough, it will become easy to see why the British shot themselves in the foot with Brexit and why Trump appeared like a rabbit out of the magician’s hat.  Covid did not appear at a random time.  All three of these events have a very strong affinity to Aquarius, however, to understand these correlations, it is first necessary to understand that Aquarius behaves very differently in an age compared to say someone with Aquarius rising or Aquarius sun.

I am also open to serious sidetracking if the audience wants to know other aspects of the astrological ages apart from the above.  The greater the two-way interaction associated with this presentation, the better.

Terry MacKinnell was born in Sydney, Australia on December 14 1951 and is a self-taught western and Vedic astrologer who has been studying western astrology since the early 1970s and Vedic astrology since the mid-1980s and is a keen adherent to both systems.  As an accidental result of working with the two zodiacs that underpin the astrological ages, in 1987 he experienced an epiphany on how to calculate the start of the Age of Aquarius in a totally new way. 

Commencing in 2000, he returned to his research in earnest and after a three-year writing project, published his first book on the subject in 2011 – “The Dawning – Shedding New Light on the Astrological Ages”.  He has a website dedicated to the astrological ages at www.macro-astrology.com and maintains a number of blogs including ‘Demystifying the Aquarian Age’.  He is slowly continuing his research into the astrological ages and is attempting towrite another book and occasionally uploads a YouTube video on his research approach to the astrological ages.

How many times have you been asked, “So can you tell me the Lotto Numbers?”. This would have to be one of the most misunderstood and propaganda led public misconceptions of astrology that drives us all a little crazy.

What started out as an exercise to determine whether the planets have a physical effect on the outcome of events or not, soon became the basis for this lecture. After picking 10 winners consecutively one after another, my confidence was so high that I thought I was on a good thing and a way to make some fast money, when my 11th bet following the same principals completely failed? I asked myself, Why?

This lecture focuses on proven techniques to win, the science behind them and the pitfalls associated with using them. There are many variables, however, when the planets do align in the way that there is only one winner, you will never lose! This lecture has been conducted at SARS in Sydney on a few occasions in the 1990’s and attendees have often come up to me later and said “I won several thousand dollars because I used your technique” which is wonderful.

Luke Bayley Bio. Originally a self-taught astrologer from age 16, instead of following traditional educational paths such as University, I chose to study Astrology. I eventually completed formal studies at the Chiron School of Astrology in the late 1980’s and completed my Practioners Certificate with the Federation of Australian Astrologers in 1991, becoming a Member of the APA (Australian Professional Astrologers Association) at the time.

As a consulting and columnist Astrologer for magazines such as Smash Hits, Star and Looks from 1988-96 and teaching first year astrology students at the Chiron School of Astrology and at Inner Harmony in Cronulla, I was a regular speaker at SARS in Sydney for many years and spoke at the FAA Conference in Sydney in 1994 on Harmonics. I was also on the NSW Committee for the FAA for a short period in the early 90’s.

My principal focus in Astrology has been around the “how” and “why” it works, the evidence, proof and how this knowledge can be used every day to enrich and make for a better life.

Having a highly developed psychic and spiritual side, along with strong mathematical abilities since early in my life, I also became an accomplished Tarot Consultant and teacher at the Chiron School of Astrology in the early 1990’s. With over 35 years’ experience in both subjects, I am now dedicating time to further research and to writing in the coming years.

Since 1997, I focused my time primarily on raising children and earning a living in the Corporate world. Never losing sight of astrology, I continued to study and research it, just taking a step back from practising, teaching and consulting, whereby recently I have made my return to astrology and tarot which is at the heart of what I do.”

This webinar presents an overview of the four new goddess planets, starting with the nurturing of the only inner dwarf planet, Ceres, who we can look at as the higher octave of the Moon. A higher octave expresses an inner planet energy at a more spiritual level.

Next we'll explore Haumea, the goddess of rebirth, who brings us into contact with the magic of being alive in each moment. Haumea can be seen as the higher octave of Neptune, which is generally considered to be the higher octave of Venus.

Then we'll experience the truth-telling activism of Eris, the goddess of pluralism, who blows away all our pretences with her fierce grace. Eris is the higher octave of Pluto, which is the higher octave of Mars, and in mythology Eris and Mars are brother and sister warriors.

And finally we'll look at the spiritual destiny of the new outer limit of our solar system, Sedna, who's orbit of 11,406 years represents our 'soul's path of destiny' as we incarnate again and again, growing through the reincarnation process. And to complete the picture we will look at Sedna as being the higher octave of Ceres, which is the higher octave of the Moon.

“Get Ready To Scream!”

Whether you love amusement parks or not, the majority of us may have visited at least one in our lifetime!  Theme parks are places we generally visit for fun.  The history of Sydney’s iconic Luna Park is full of twists and turns.  Recently this theme park came into the media for reasons that were not so funny.  On July 9, 2021, the supposed re-opening of this famous theme park (now to be determined by Sydney’s lockdown laws) Christina will use Luna Park’s history to discuss major astrological life cycles.  Perhaps we can learn how to live through these major life cycles when we understand what they mean.

Now back to the theme park…. were you the one, first in the queue, excited and pumped in anticipation?  Or the one who was forced to participate due to peer pressure?   Perhaps you were the one who was waiting patiently at the ride’s entry, often with bags, cardigans or jackets, for friends to stop screaming and come down from their ride?

In life, knowing what ride you’re currently on can help reduce fear and uncertainly.  Especially when it’s the scariest ride of your life thus far you’re been ‘forced’ to take.  Imagine you’re suddenly been made redundant.  Ill prepared for that sickly spin on the “Rotor”, life has you gripped in fear or are you excited for what’s coming next?  Depending on your age or life’s circumstances, that ride could be far from fun!  For some, it’s not always easy to maintain composure and remain optimistic when you’re visiting the great amusement park of life.

When life’s circumstances are seemingly out of your control, it’s often not until you get the next job or into a new relationship, you realise the benefits.  Were you forced or pushed into taking a job that wasn’t right for you?  On reflection, perhaps you would rather have sat out your turn on the marriage breakup “Cha Cha”.  In order to cope, we come to a point when we realise the ride was probably the best thing that ever happened to us.   Sometimes it seems like we are not given a choice feeling we’ve been pushed onto a ride.  At other times, we are the ones who jumped in boots and all.  By using astrology we are offered an opportunity to discover our choices and in turn, use our free will.

Generally, during major planetary transits, we hang on… hoping the ride will soon end.  Do you sit, frozen and white knuckled, waiting for that moment when life takes a new turn?  Some of us cope better with scary rides than others.  Some actually enjoy the wild rides but we don’t all get the same feeling of exhilaration.  Some are filled with fear and dread.  Knowing when a ride will start and when it will finish can be very empowering.  It can make all the difference when going through one of life’s bumpy rides.

Do you remember that feeling as the famous “Big Dipper” roller coaster crept higher and higher?  All the time knowing what goes up, must come down.  Through the lens of astrology we gain a little insight into what may be coming and how to handle it.  We begin to know and understand life’s timings.

It is the uncertainty of amusement parks that adds to the thrill, exhilaration or fear experienced in that setting.  In life, some of us are better at hanging in there to the finish, then dusting ourselves off and carrying on regardless.  Ultimately, the moment the ride stops and you can get off, all wobbly in the knees, you know you have gained a new found strength.  Perhaps you’ll never want to take that particular ride again but you’ve survived.

The term sect derives from the Old French secte literally 'following', hence 'faction, party', from the stem of sequi 'follow'. The modern term sect however is derived from the Latin, seco which means ‘to cut’ or ‘to divide’. Sect then can be considered in two ways: as an option or choice which represents a specific view or mindset; and a division.

They are not contradictory as they describe both concepts of choice and division. In traditional astrology, Sect was one of the paramount considerations with regard to planetary strength.
